Our Terms Of Service


Easy Way Trans owns a range of tow trucks, car carriers and other fleet along with depots and locations, but we also work hand-in-hand with several business partners and subcontractors to provide our customers with best possible service at affordable prices, service and peace of mind. We have a few terms and conditions that protects all three of us, our partners, us, and most of all you, our customer”

You, our customer, agree that the responsibility of transporting your vehicle lies within the agreed carrier and their terms of service. Easy Way Trans is not always the primary carrier and is not able to accept any liability in such cases. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Carrier (Company) shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to Goods;
  • (a) caused by vibration, weather, or weather events of any kind whatsoever, including but not limited to rain, hail or storm damage, and airborne damage
  • (b) the Goods being brittle, inherently defective, or in such a condition that they cannot be loaded, unloaded, or transported by road without damage;
  • (c) inherent vice or the nature of the Goods;
  • (d) where such loss or damage comprises mechanical, electrical breakdown, derangement, or malfunction of the Goods;
  • (e) caused by insufficiency or unsuitability of packing or preparation of the Goods to withstand the ordinary incidents of Carriage. For this subclause, ‘packing’ will be deemed to include stowage of any Goods inside a vehicle;
  • (f) comprising items inside any vehicle transported by the Carrier.
  • (g) no responsibility for any coverings or removable tarpaulins on vehicles or items and any damage that these may cause during transit.
  • (h) no responsibility for undercarriage or concealed areas of vehicles with less than 15cm ground clearance.

Easy Way Trans relies solely on the details supplied by you, our customer, and can only work from what you have provided for us. We cannot be liable if your details are incomplete.
The dimensions of the vehicle must be supplied by our customer, 4.9m max length, 1.9m max height, 2.2m maximum width, and a minimum of 15cm ground clearance.
Any roof racks, roof rails, lift kits, bull bars, canopies, tool kits, or any other modifications might change the dimensions of the vehicle and must be disclosed when booking the vehicle. Any goods packed inside the vehicle must also be disclosed.
Easy Way Trans requires full payment upon the booking of transportation, via cash/credit card/ bank transfer. This is to be received before the vehicle leaves the departure depot or private address. Easy Way Trans services commence when we or our employees and subcontractors pick up or accept the vehicle.
Please Note! We accept no responsibility for loss or damages of these belongings. The owner stores belongings for transport at their own risk. Explosives are prohibited.
Transport times can only be considered as estimates and can never be guaranteed. This is due to time delays in traffic, unsafe weather, job cancellations, truck issues/ breakdowns, and other unforeseen circumstances. Our transport times are based on business days and do not include weekends or public holidays.
If Easy Way Trans encounters unforeseen circumstances IE truck difficulties, safety issues, etc. We reserve the right to change pick-up or delivery addresses. Delivery will be deemed to have occurred and we may require you to collect the vehicle from an address notified by us. Though this has rarely ever happened.
Easy Way Trans has subcontracted tow trucks to pick up from and drop off to auction houses in most states of Australia. In these circumstances, funds must be cleared for the vehicle to be released to us and we are to be supplied with the lot # and buyer’s # before departure to the auction house. Our depots in various capital cities are open during normal business hours.
Easy Way Trans reserves the right to change or amend any of our terms and conditions without notification.
Easy Way Trans does not take responsibility of any damages to the salvage and non-drivable vehicles since those vehicles are loaded using forklift
A non-drivable vehicle at the time of loading is not covered by our vehicle service premium as we do not know the history of the vehicle and thus cannot be held liable for its condition. If our customer is somehow not present upon the receivable date and is unreachable/contactable. Unfortunately, we will have to charge the customer for the costs of the re-delivery and storage as these are costs we incur.
Customers must arrange to collect the vehicles from our depot/s once they are ready for collection. Storage costs apply depending on factors such as location of the depot, type of the vehicle etc.
In event that Easy Way Trans needs to store a vehicle, a storage fee of $45 per night will be charged. This will only occur if the vehicle cannot be picked up from the designated place on the day of delivery stipulated in the booking made by our customer.
Easy Way Trans contract as the agent and trustee for our employees and subcontractors, they have the benefit of the contract and these terms of service to the same extent as Easy Way Trans. In the event of serious abuse or harassment from any customer. Easy Way Trans reserves the right to cancel or decline bookings at any time without explanation. This includes declining any quoted price that has been accepted or paid for.

PICK-UP AND DELIVERY DATES.

  • Please allow a minimum of 5 working days. Transit times vary from State to State & Vehicle to Vehicle.
  • Usually, our turnaround time is 5 working days from the pickup time but it might always vary depending on many factors. During the busy season, we will warn you of possible delays well ahead of time so you are always informed of the status of your car.
PREPARING YOUR CAR FOR THE JOURNEY
  • Upon bookings (well in advance of the pick up), please make sure your car is driveable (advise us on booking if it does not drive and additional costs may apply) and standard dimensions only.
  • Standard dimensions are:
    4.9m max length, 1.9m max height, 2.2m max width, minimum 15cm ground clearance.
  • Any roof racks, roof rails, lift kits, body kits, bull bars, canopies, tool-kits or any other modifications might change dimensions of the vehicle and must be disclosed when booking the vehicle. Any goods packed inside the vehicle must also be disclosed.
  • Accurate disclosure is required if the vehicle doesn’t drive, doesn’t steer or roll, or has no brakes, has lower than 15cm ground clearance, and is valued over $60,000.
  • Please be advised that Easy Way Trans does NOT take the responsibility of the goods and items packed inside the vehicle. The goods are packed entirely at customer’s own risk. Also, the customer bears the sole responsibility if the goods packed inside the vehicle are hazardous and cause damage to the other items on the freight or to the surroundings.
  • It is advised for the photos to be taken before transiting Car, Bike, Truck, HVAC, Machinery, or Boat for transportation. Any personal items and luggage should be checked.
  • The standard procedure maintained by our drivers is to take photos at Pick-up and most of the time it is not possible to take pictures from underneath the vehicles, therefore, Easy Way Trans is not responsible for damages from underneath the vehicle(s) claimed/reported by the customer.
ACCEPTING YOUR VEHICLE FOR DELIVERY.
  • Please inspect your car at delivery and any issues should be advised straight away. Admin fee applies for claiming any damages which were already there on a collection of the vehicle.
  • Easy Way Trans does not take any responsibility for any mechanical damages whatsoever. Since the cars are not driven (only carted) by us, thus we don’t take any responsibility for the damages which are internal or mechanical in nature..
IF DAMAGE SHOULD OCCUR.
  • Easy Way Trans strives hard to deliver your car damage-free and by/within the estimated time. Car Transportation is completely worry-free. On occasion if the vehicle is damaged in transit, this could solely be because of the circumstances out of our control i.e. weather, storms, hail, unsafe road conditions, etc. Please be advised that we do not cover the damages which occur due to natural occurrences and disasters.
  • Please note that overloading your vehicle with heavy items may result in damage to your car or other vehicles on that freight. Easy Way Trans is not responsible for damages to the vehicle(s) due to overloading.
PRICE.
  • Yes, we understand that every car we carry is different and special and we want to ensure your car is transported safely and quickly and at the best possible price!
  • We won’t make you wait, hide any fees, or keep you for hours on the phone. We have a few simple questions to ask so that we can provide you with the best possible price to get your car going in the right direction. It might vary to the instant online quote depending on the vehicle and the locations, therefore it is best advised to contact us via phone or email for most accurate quotes and time frames.
  • We accept cash, bank transfers, and credit card payments (surcharge may apply).
  • Collections and loading will only happen when the payment is cleared into our bank account.
  • A cancellation fee applies in case of change of mind or double bookings.
IF DAMAGE SHOULD OCCUR.
  • Notify the staff member if there is any exterior damage. We will look into it and compare the records and share the findings right away. Again, admin costs apply if the damage was already present at the time of pick up. Any verifiable damage will be looked after accordingly.
  • Any damages to the vehicles as a result of natural occurrences and disasters are not covered by Easy Way Trans.
  • Any loose items or parts in all types of cars (especially salvage vehicle(s)) is/are also not covered.
  • Any hazardous or loose items or parts that result in damaging other vehicles on the freight will be claimed from responsible parties (from the customers whose vehicle or loose goods caused the incident or damage to occur). It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure all items and parts with their vehicles are secured properly, and are not causing damages to their own vehicles or other vehicles/items on that freight.
